One of my antique (10 year old) video machines died on Wednesday.
Last night I discovered that another antique video machine had died too. It was a mere 8 years old.
They don't make things to last these days.
Trouble is, I now have to find out how to extract the tape from the 2nd one coz it's got stuff on it I want to watch.

The ZeitGhost(tm) Super Zapper Replica has most of its components on the pcb.
Wot it hasn't got (coz they went out of stock between me placing the order with purchasing & the order getting to Rapid) was the surface mount press button switches.
I'm ever so pleased.
Only 26 of them to solder on.
I hope I got the footprint right or we're stuffed & not in a pleasant way.
