I don't mind the Tube. Felt a bit sick for a few days after the bombings but fine after that.

I grew up using London transport during the bombings. It leaves one rather blasé about such things.

It is the perpetual unreliability, filth, pickpocketing, beggars, overcrowdedness, pointless staff, overpricing, stupid pricing system, crap barriers and random frottage that puts me off. I preferred the bombs. At least there were fewer tourists.
