but I don't mind, kids are nice as long as you can hand them back.

Plus its nice to be asked to be some sort of guidance for kids as they grow

I have enough trouble guiding our own without having to take on that responsibility for other people's kids

She's only 6 and she is doing really well at swimming, ballet, modern dance, kick boxing and tennis.
I just need to get her to ride a bike - she lacks confidence

We found the best way (after advice from the local cycling instructor) was to take off the stabilisers and the pedals, then get them to push themselves along and just glide for a bit to build their balance.

DS2 learned to ride his bike in a couple of sessions that way.
