now i'll have to work out what i want! this is going to be tricky. i need to go to the local shop and try loads out so that i can get a feel for the physical differences in necksizes.

i've been playing for over 30 years but have only ever owned 1 electric (for 13 years). so i'm not exactly experienced in variances and possibilities on a practical level.

then i'd have to try and prevent myself from falling in love with an instrument on the spot.

maybe go in and be absolutely honest and tell them that is what i am trying to do

and if i do fall for one - then so be it.

but in the back of my mind i will have the knowledge that i could probably get a custom build instead of compromising.
