By this time, of course, I'd bought the CT7000.
It's never had much use.
Built like a brick tuliphouse, with a 7 gang tuning capacitor... remarkable engineering.
Apart from the reverse biased tantalum caps in the audio path of course.Comment

i need to get away early. gotta go and collect the car from the garage.
since the garage is at the other end of my commute and they close at 6 i need to be gone by 16.30 to have a hope of getting there in time.Comment
