I'm full of beer, home made chicken curry and red wine.

    I'm going to bed.

My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

To make it clear, I imply no approval of wasps with this assertion - quite the opposite.

(Sometimes heavy metal fans get the wrong idea when one mentions The Devil )

            Anyway...

Steak and kidney pudding tonight - home-made like all the food at the pub, and boy, was that some heavy-duty suet pastry

It's so long since I've had the real thing that I'd forgotten just how filling suet can be. I only just managed to finish the pudding, and had to leave half the chips

I think I'm still digesting it... it's definitely a meal for two days, not just for Tuesday

                Mmmm. Steamed suet pudding.

I haven't had one of those for years.

My mum used to make tiny steak suet puddings; about the size of a teacup. You'd look at it on the plate in dismay, accustomed to normally being very well fed. 40 minutes later you'd still be looking at it in dismay, determined to finish it but afraid you'd die in the attempt.

"It's alright, you can leave the pastry".

                I think not!

There's a cuckoo singing its little heart out outside the window.

If 'singing' is the right word.

They're just sitting in the van.

That'll be because they are 6 minutes early.
