Morning all
Got the house to myself for a bit.
Son has up and left early to go to a mates to wait for his exam results ( he must be nervous, he's never out of bed before mid-day outside term time ).
MrsB has gone shopping with her Mum, who came over yesterday. Leaving me to hold the fort and wait for news from Son and keep an eye on Mother-in-Law's dog.
At least it's cooling off a bit today. After the week in Venice I was looking forward to a bit of English summer away from the heat but it's been almost as hot here as it was there."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

Manchester isn't too warm this morning
although last night I kept my bedroom balcony door wide open - it was almost unbearable!
