This is the opposite of what computers are for, FFS! They're not supposed to dictate your life, they are meant to make it easier and better.

Somebody, somewhere, needs a damn good kicking.
Previously I've actually tried resetting it via the webmail whilst in work, that didn't work either... the only way appears to be to do it when the little form thingie pops up at login.

    In my frigging lab.

    On a specific box.

And if I go in, how wot odds am I given that no one in the computer services dept will be able to reset the password for me anyway?

More bad news : Mrs BP took a bad fall yesterday at a maize maze(following hours of moaning by the 2 boys).

Mother-out-law due in for triple bypass end of next week (just before centreparcs holiday). Now she has had a heart attack!

        Mrs BP not amused......

Is that on a similar scale to SASGURU and his epic fly battle?

              Not quite

during a live upgrade the customer complained.... I got the support call and asked to fix it. Turns out to be "functions as designed"

Such indiscretions are a little more obvious now we're located in the main open-plan office.

Not to mention being more obvious given that he was snoring.
