The simultaneous transition to flatness probably didn't help... honestly, I try to avoid them, but they really shouldn't be on the pavement at that time of night - they're very hard to see under street lighting whose power is diminished by the shadows of rhododendra and suchlike shrubs
The second one was when I turned around to make sure the first one was really dead...

The flashing lights man ordered some more bits from Rapid yesterday...
And he's arranged to have them delivered here under my name...
Fecking good move that since anything with my name on seems to instantly go missing...
