What do you play? (Apologies if you've already explained.)
I've only ever been to Ronnie Scotts in Brum, which is now sadly closed but became a lapdancing club. So mixed feelings thereWhere are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

You can never be sure with a twenty year old car. You take it in for something that appears fairly trivial, and it turns out they have to half-rebuild the thing and it takes three days to find all the parts. With a bit of luck that won't happen, and I'll be able to go zooming over to Cambridge tomorrow evening - fingers crossedComment

The nearside rear suspension, or possibly the wheel, makes an unpleasant creaking sound when going right at more than about fifteen miles an hour, or generally when the weight is bearing down on that side
In addition, the exhaust has worked a bit loose and bangs against the underside of the car when the engine is started - it's OK once it's running though.
It's also due a full service, and I thought I'd get them to check the timing chain as I can't remember when that was last done - it's worth replacing sooner rather than later, given that it destroys the entire engine if it breaks
Chain or cambelt...
The creaking is probly just the wheel falling off, nothing to worry about really.Comment

I've just been reading on Honest John's site about the wonders of the Jag XK8 () and The Fiat Sciento and the Nissan Micra.
That site puts me off buying anything.Comment
