My Mum was taken ill yesterday - they've taken her into hospital so they can stabilise her condition and perform tests
She's apparently OK in herself (as in, psychologically she's compos mentis and generally together), but various physiological problems are giving her a hard time. Hopefully they can get her stabilised by the morning and get on with sorting out what's actually wrong with her.
My sister phoned me to tell me about it this afternoon, before Mum was taken into hospital - it was a case of waiting for a general transportation ambulance, rather than a 999 job. However her physical condition has deteriorated somewhat, according to my sister's phone call this evening. They're going to work on stabilising her physical condition during the night and hopefully be able to do tests tomorrow, although they suggested that it might take until the day after before they could do all the tests they may have to do
