I've fecking done it again...
MPLAB couldn't see the programmer, apparently.
Option greyed out in list.
Turn programmer on & off.
Disable & re-enable comms ports.
Uninstall & reistall software.
Still won't see the programmer.
Dimly, through a Glass Darkly, I looked at the processor configuration thingie...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
This device not supported by PICStart+ (in this version, though it doesn't say that)....
