Indeed! Did you get any Misfits?

They're my favourite reason for going. Kilos and kilos of bags of Misfits.

We've just been inundated with a squillion little flying buggers.

Shortly, we'll find out if they're hungry little buggers too.

Going by the itchiness that is appearing on legs, arms and back, they're hungry little buggers.

                  Harrumph.

We tried the "turn the lights off and turn the desk lamps on" trick. That way the little critters get cooked in the desk lamps.

                  It didn't work.

These poxy low energy bulbs don't get hot enough to cook critters.

Ah, Kingsway Tramway - there are some good web pages about that

When I was last working in London, I passed every day by the only station on the Tube to be constructed (to some extent - the excavations were made, but the platforms were never built) but never opened. To me it's the highlight of the Northern Line

They only connected it to the surface when it became the home of the control room for the deep tube flood gates in the early 1950s. It's 197 steps from the surface to the area one can glimpse from the train

They're not blowfly from the sheep are they

Fly strike, or Blow-fly strike, (Myiasis) is a condition caused by maggots living on the skin and in the fur of animals.

Sheep are most commonly attacked by fly strike around the rear end where the wool becomes soiled by faeces and urine. This may result from diarrhoea caused by sudden changes in diet, or illness.

                      Fly strike can be fatal.

Fly strike can occur on any animal, and also in humans.
