Anyone know where Dorset is? How far from Manchester?

Tried to get on the AA site but it won't load up for me.

Very sensible - best to dry out before attempting a long journey.

I've done Manchester to Bournemouth in about 4 hours. West Dorset may be trickier as the dual carriageways run out.

I once discovered by complete accident that deep heat dissolves plastic carrier bags. Leaving an imprint of the bag on your leg while you're on the way to a match in the team bus.
