Unforseen Consequences
They havge just changed the rules about eating at your desk here. It used to be that you were not allowed to eat anything at your desk apart from snacks. Now they are allowing people to eat sandwiches and other cold food at their desk, hot food must still be consumed in the canteen.
As a result I have now eaten my sandwiches and will end up going to the canteen anyway in an hour or so as I will be hungry again."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

I only purchased one today though - one of the PM's here is supposedly bringing in some samosas, and I need to leave some room for those *and* my sandwiches.
I have turned down an invitation to attend ClientCo Curry Thursday in the canteen today though.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment
