    Grrrrr.

Client doesn't want to pay expenses. All I've asked for is the difference in the rent I was paying (£750 pcm) and the cost of me staying in a hotel (£118 pd) for the time that I'm there, since because they cancelled the contract early, I moved out of my place and now have nowhere cheap to stay.

So - do I take the work, get some money, but be annoyed that I am getting fleeced on the expenses because of their incompetence, or dig my heels in, stick to my principles, and potentially lose the work?

Haggle? See if they'll split the difference?

On a £15million implementation, we're arguing over the £1100 extra I want for my expenses, which are only being incurred because of their poor planning and management in getting rid of me last year when they knew they still needed me.

Not a happy bunny - at the moment I've left it with the pimp and the budget manager to agree what they want to do. Team lead rang me to ask when I was coming back, and said "I just need you back ASAP" but the decision is out of his hands.

              Fools.

Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?
