Will breeding be involved?
If so, you'll eventually have the pleasure of picking one out for dinner... then doing all the needful to bring it to the point where you can actually start to turn it into dinner.
According to my Dutch ex-gf, they do give the impression of running around a bit if you drop them while their legs are still working after the head's been taken off. (Her parents also kept a goat which had goatlets - however, I don't think they cut their heads off. Cute photo of her clutching one of the kids when she was about seven though )
FWIW, you'll probably want to pick off the older ones rather than the youngsters; ergo, you should plan your menus for a casserole rather than a fry or roast. (Then again, a slow roast in foil would work.)
