Indeed.

In fact sufficiently cold that I was tempted to turn the central heating on.

Sadly, the pilot light won't.


And the gas fire part makes a hideous stink (though CO free) so I can't use that.

I may have the gas supply removed.

1963 was so cold that the sea froze in Swansea Bay...
