Hmm... there seems to be something wrong with the National Grid's auto-refreshing graph of Real Time Electricity Demand in the UK - on the first 15 second refresh, it jumps up to a clearly incorrect level, and then further refreshes show demand as a flat line at the level incorrectly jumped to. However, refreshing the entire page shows that the level of demand never actually went up to that level.
I must look into that tomorrow
