Agents do make me laugh.Originally posted by zara_backdog View PostAye - for the moment. If you want a laugh had a call from one of the agents askng if I was still up for a role at Jaguar landrover - however I would now have to work direct for the agent , i.e the Agency is the client

I have als seen some of the BA roles readvertised on a reduced rate and downgraded the skills required.
Think I will stay clear of that one....
Any news on the DB role? That boy go raaaaaaa

Are they asking you to be an employee of the agency, rather than just contracting through them? I know a few chaps on similar arrangements - seems to the worst of all worlds to me.Originally posted by zara_backdog View PostAye - for the moment. Hi ZaraOriginally posted by zara_backdog View PostHi Nick
How was the interview ? I wasn't around Friday

I think it went pretty well
It occurred to me last night that the client didn't make any notes - we just chatted, really. However, there was some other guy after me, and as we all know, people tend to have stuff crowded out of their head by new information, potentially leaving me at some disadvantage in the memory stakes.
So I'm going to send him an email - just the usual "Thanks for seeing me, if your techy guy has any additional questions he can email me or call, blah blah" stuff, the idea being that this will get his memory focused back on me. If I send it on Sunday evening, so that he sees it either just before he goes to sleep or when he starts work on Monday, it should get me back to the front of his mind as he makes his deliberations.
Cunning, eh?

Hopefully it's proved that they can have an attacking edge - it's those late goals that are the killer for us.Originally posted by El_Diablo View PostYes I heard they played, oh well...Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment
