    How is your mum?
A bit better, thanks. I don't like to phone to check too often - the doctor told her she shouldn't spend more than a few minutes at a time talking on the phone until she's got her strength up a bit, and my dad is quite deaf so he finds it a pain to use.

My sister and her husband live very near them, so they'll be keeping an eye on things and can let me know if there's any problems. No news is good news

I couldn't possibly condone mentioning CM's knickers (or lack of), knicker elastic, handcuffs (fluffy or otherwise), or wrist/bikini incidents.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

Yes, but no confirmation or denial of pink fluffy knickers, or elastic. Or wrist action.

How did that Clinton speech go.....

I have had no relations with any fluffy pink knickers (with or without elastic!!) and my wrist action isn't up for discussion
