I haven't got a lawn. I have a very large expanse of mud.

God that mini digger I hired last week was fun

Oh my Lord, what a to-do

Wending my weaving wobbling way home from the FMB bar I caught up with an old acquaintance who had also been in there, and lives nearby. We normally exchange "Hello"s, although tonight she was engrossed by a group of friends so we hadn't actually spoken.

Anyway, she announced that, although she had initially opted out, she was going to a party at a friends' house, but was unclear as to the location. I used Google Maps on my mobile telephonic apparatus to determine the place - which turned out to be over the road and up a side street from home - and she invited me to join the merry throng.

I had a bad vibe about this from the start, but figured what the hell, it's not that far from home.

      Oh dear

The happy gathering turned out to involve a couple whose general attitude was "So anyway, who the fsck are you?", and the genial host who stumbled around for a bit trying to find his wallet and car keys before subsiding onto the sofa, where it became apparent that my old acquaintance had only gone there because she wanted to cop off with him... and meanwhile, the other people are gazing at me with increasing distrust in their eyes

I made my excuses and left... and as I crossed the road to home I glanced over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't being followed

This is why I avoid social gatherings - except CUK meetups. At least they guarantee a certain calibre of socialisee

                      Morning folks

Just time for 30 mins of coding before watching West Brom take on Aston Villa, for which I will have to kick the kids off Lego Star wars on the 360. I may have to tread carefully.

Hopefully they'll be moving into the new loft rooms later this week, and I can get the other T.V. set up for such things.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?
