Evening folks Just passing though.

No.1 son turned 10 today so we had a trip out to Thinktank @ Millennium Point in Birmingham. The museum isn't a patch on the old science museum though, and unfortunately the Lego Robotics Studio was shut. Still, it has nice to get out with all the kids.

We try and make a point of going somewhere for each of their birthdays, but we're starting to run out of places to go. We were going to arrange to go rock climbing at an indoor centre in Mosely, but they experienced a few leaks in the torrent yesterday so I think they were busy mopping up today.

Anyways, hope you all had a great weekend - catch you tomorrow

Big Pit mining museum in south Wales. you get to go down into a real coal mine, deep underground. the walls glitter with fools gold. brilliant trip for a ten year old (or adult)
