My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think. -

Still got 40 odd years of Wireless World under this desk though... useful (?) reference material, full of weird designs for things I'm never going to build.
I stopped taking Electronics World about 2 years ago because it had become slightly less interesting than the freebie trade mags I receive by the dozen. And it cost £4.95 per issue.
Oddly enough, the publishers phoned me up a couple of weeks ago, but I was out "working"...Comment

It leaves a funny empty feeling in a way that other deaths haven't. A tiny vacuum. My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

The duck will finish roasting in about 20 minutes. I'll then shred it and get it off the bone. The meat will be kept warm in the oven...
... while I stir fry (not story fry!) the mushrooms, peppers, beansprouts and grated carrot.
I've got a dozen ready-made pancakes I'll nuke and a jar of hoi sin sauce which I'll warm up too.
Then it's duck & stir fry pancakes for two.
Or more, if you're really quick. My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

I think the earliest one I have is the third issue - it had the Tandy TRS80 Model I on the cover; must have been around June 1978
Although I did read the very first issue when it came out - it was in the computer room at school.Comment
