        I lived in a bedsit during student days... <shudder> not sure I would want to go back to that kind of life style

              No point in dying rich... and always at the back of my mind is how it was before... but you do have a right to enjoy the fruits of your labour...

              IMHO when working away, a Travelodge is preferable to a 5 star hotel in terms of saving dosh... but I could not extend that rational to staying in a bedsit... I do need a certain level of comfort and privacy.
