A says white hat and is right, he guessed.Originally posted by EternalOptimistok here is another one, all you bored contractors
three guys(A B C) face a wall, one behind the other
A forth guy(D) is on the other side of the wall
A B C || D
A = white hat
B = black hat
C= white hat
D = black hat
They can not see their own hat
A can see B and C
B can see C
C can see no one
D can see no one
The first person to get the color of their own hat wins a million
but they must get it right, no guessing. They cant discuss it.
No tricks, no throwing.
Clue, when they get the go ahead, no one speaks for about 20 seconds then one of the four speaks up 'I am wearing a xx color hat' and they are right

B knows.
If A could see two white hats he would have known his (A's) was black and would have said so.
B can see C's white hats and so therefore must have a black one.
Soooo bored todayComment

In your cellar there are three light switches in the OFF position. Each switch controls 1 of 3 light bulbs on floor above.
You may move any of the switches but you may only go upstairs to inspect the bulbs one time. How can you determine the switch for each bulb with one inspection??Comment
