Does it take Ringo that long because he has to carry George and Johns coffins?Originally posted by EternalOptimistok my friend
The Beatles have to get to a gig in 17 minutes
They have to cross a footbridge
Only two can be on the bridge at one time
Its night and they have a torch
The torch must be carried in order to cross the bridge
John can cross in 1 minute
Paul 2 minutes
George 5 minutes
Ringo 10 minutes
Call the cops

If they take the long and winding road through strawberry fields and use the yellow submarine to cross then they could do it.Originally posted by EternalOptimistok my friend

Ringo and George cross at the same time, this takes 10 mins, then they throw the torch back and John and Paul cross in 2 mins (12mins total).Originally posted by EternalOptimistok my friend

John & Paul cross and John comes back with torch = 3mins
Ringo & George cross = 10 mins
Paul comes back with torch = 2 mins
John and Paul cross = 2 mins
Total = 17 mins
This assumes that John and Paul didn't have a fight about who was better/faster etc

ok here is another one, all you bored contractors
three guys(A B C) face a wall, one behind the other
A forth guy(D) is on the other side of the wall
A B C || D
A = white hat
B = black hat
C= white hat
D = black hat
They can not see their own hat
A can see B and C
B can see C
C can see no one
D can see no one
The first person to get the color of their own hat wins a million
but they must get it right, no guessing. They cant discuss it.
No tricks, no throwing.
Clue, when they get the go ahead, no one speaks for about 20 seconds then one of the four speaks up 'I am wearing a xx color hat' and they are right
