Stay, stay, stay
You're more entertaining than aTw (although to be fair, so is psoriasis)
You're funnier than Sas (although to be fair, so is jim davison )
You're madder than chico (but in a different way)
You're a completely deluded (and possibly barking) muppet (or mupper).
Why would you want to leave, you fit right in.Why not?Comment

Just for the purpose of satisfying my curiosity.........
do you work on an IT helpdesk somewhere?
hmmmmmm, you probably started off in a call centre and you have some personal interest in PCs. You let your 'team leader' know about this and they therefore fitted in to your objectives on your annual appraisal. You were first seconded onto the Helpdesk after meeting your objectives and were recently placed there permanantly after proving yourself 'worthy'.
Your salary jumped from £16,000 to £21,000!!
You work for a 'blue chip' telco that employs many contractors. You perceive that you could easily perform a better job than them. There's a rumour floating about the team regarding how much they earn and therefore you want a piece of that as well.
Your manager has promised to put you in for your MCSE for about half a year now but the training budget has been blown on things like 'Assertiveness Training' instead. But, you still genuinely believe that it is coming and that it will be your key to the contractor world.
You are 24 years old.
You're from up north somewhere like Leeds or Manchester where the word 'nobhead' is still commonly used.
..........and the conclusion of chock's 'profiling' - you work for the IT Helpdesk for O2/BT in Leeds. More specifically, The Arlington Business Centre or Sovereign Street.
..........miles off?Comment

That is one of the more Lucid explanations I have heard, I still think the schoolboy one is the best though

You are aware, I assume,
that your posting sounded very autobiographical.
Is there something you should be telling us, Chock? Why not?Comment
