There is a big difference between reminding people of that, and actually stating you work for HMRC. I guess we'll find out next time they come along then.

They are not the same. There are no juniors and middling people contracting but there are most definitely equally skilled people on most sites. Contracting became the defacto way for clients to take people on and many thousands jumped on the band wagon. They weren't any different to either the other perms or the contractors, they just decided to sell their skills to the highest bidder. Contractors have been perms before. They aren't born or suddenly become elite because they went contracting.

You maybe different but you need to take your elitist glasses off and look at reality. It's no where near as black and white as you think.

You and a few other regulars are constantly bashing people on here with your own elitist viewpoints, note, VIEWPOINTS, which are not necessarily correct, and are never justified, littered with arrogant, demeaning, personal and condescending comments to anyone who challenges you in any way. Its becoming clear now you work in different professions, and your viewpoints arent valid to other professions.

Because they have kids, family and other commitments that don't lead them to want to run the risk of contracting and more so the commute and living away.

A company should have good software developers, pm's or whatever. Contractors are only there to deliver an extended service.Your many years of being an elite contractor seems to have blinded you to reality at the coal face.
