A very interesting opportunity has presented itself but it is firmly inside ir35. If I took it, I would just leave the company not trading for a year. There's no immediate problems with that is there ?

Nope. Your accountant will advise what the situation is. Also ask them to reduce your charges while it's not trading. You'll have to stop paying yourself a wage for the time being but in the short term it's just like extended bench time.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

Pleased to here it is lucrative.
I am just not sure why they want you as a temp member of staff and not a contractor. As long as you get paid, who cares?Comment
