I also got a call from White Collar .....

Hi all ... I got a call from White Collar and I am mulling over it.

I too am interested to know opinion on the 2 options (assuming you all got 2 as well).

My gut says sod everyone and be confident that everything will be ok, but there is that niggling feeling ..... which makes me not 100% comfortable. I will read over the thread and forum rules in a little more detail when I get home, I registered in a hurry to post before my long commute home. I thought WC clients were in a solid position considering the Rangers case ....

So that's an average of £207468.88 on the first 7K+?

i spoke with WCF and they mentioned this opt in deadline, is this simply opting in to pay whatever hrmc request via an apn?

            Access to PM please

Ok so I read a lot of the thread and it seems the bottom line is I need to PM Turnover.

Admin can I have access to PM please.

I take the point that ultimately WE are responsible for our own tax but, I am sure most of us entered this in good faith accepting that what we were doing was legal, as advised by WC or ASMG - I for one remember asking plenty of questions about legitimacy before I joined and I was assured it was. To be in this position now is annoying to put it mildly.

I am pretty sure most of us are not accountants or tax experts, reading page upon page of tax "stuff" that makes no sense to me will never give me knowledge to know I am or am not making a sound decision. Its like a computer programmer showing some code to someone in the legal team - it will make no sense to them but providing the explanation "made sense" to the legal person they would feel a level of assurance.
A crap analogy in a way but I am sure you get the point.

I dare say this is the position of many people here.

The deadline for if you want to continue to receive asssitance from them and their associates. You need to to reply to the email and they will send you further information. I spoke with WC yesterday and the process was fully explained to me.

Anyone who hasn't spoke with WC yet should do so now. There is a third-party that will be handling our tax affairs. From what I'm led to believe there is over a thousand of us all in the same boat.

So are WC essentially washing their hands of ex-clients, unless they sign up with this 3rd party company? Worryingly, the 3rd party company is the same bunch that WC recommended I use for my ltd company when I left them over a year ago.
