You advertise it as "deposit of £10 to be paid via PayPal within 2 days of auction end, balance in cash on collection". If they try to pay the whole amount via PayPal, refund it and tell them to do it properly.Originally posted by psychocandy View PostTrouble is ebay will force you to offer paypal as a payment option. There is no choice these days. If buyer wants to pay cash, you have to offer it.
People selling cars on eBay don't take PayPal for the whole lot.Comment

Hey Cojak. £200 is £200. If you're that loaded, I'll send you my address and you can stick some notes in an envelope for me! ;-)Originally posted by cojak View PostPut a chisel through the hard drive and chuck in the tip.

I used mine for 6 years (it was XP) before buying a new one - you should have run that one into the ground.Originally posted by psychocandy View PostHey Cojak. £200 is £200. When I had shops, one day I got a message from one of the staff members saying a customer would like to bring back a mirror she'd bought a few months ago as it didn't go with her room. As it was a mirror we sold all the time I thought, fair enough, credit note would be fine.
Anyway she popped in was I working and bought a copy of her receipt. When she said a few months, she really meant 14 months, and I was a little annoyed, but she said it had been in it's box all the time. So I took it out and looked at it. It was perfect, faultless, with one minor problem. It was a completely different colour to the one I'd sold her. It was no longer white shabby chic, but a pale eggshell blue. 'I had it painted professionally', she informed me.
'On your bike', I informed her.

I think we ought to have a JSA day where any cash values must be expressed in terms of JSA.
I went for a gig pay 5.5 JSA per day.
I bought a PC from some idiot for 3 JSA and after I ****ed about with it the moron still helped me to fix it.
You can now pick up a Ferrari 612 for around 694 JSA - 972 JSA'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!
