Just moved house and couldn't be bothered to vote in a pointless farce
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Do you think that not voting means that you should forfeit your right to be critical of local and European government, then?

Not if the electoral process is itself essentially worthless.

Anyway, to my shame, I voted rather than spoiled my ballot paper for the first time in many years.

Oh yeah I took part in the farce that is EU 'democracy'.

Looking on the bright side this could be the last EU election I ever get to vote in. Please.

No, and I'm a bit annoyed at myself. I agreed to some work and didn't really consider I'd be away so, yeah. But, the party I'd have voted for won my seat, so ho hum.

In my case the question should be "did you go to your count?"

To which the answer is yes, for UKIP of course.
I didn't win, but I beat the lib dems and Labour

Well done anyway. Were you beaten by a proper tory?

Yes the "proper" Tory got twice as many as me, and an independent Candidate stuck his oar in there too above me.

Still it was an interesting experience being there.
