I quite liked 3:10 to Yuma, but that the last thing I've seen him in that I really remember
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It did. I meant more specifically that Crowe was decent in it.

I haven't seen it but I heard that he couldn't quite decide what his accent was supposed to be. Cornish, Irish, Cockney etc

It was bad but not at the level of Sean Connery in The Hunt For Red October bad

It was an awful film but considering the original script about the best anyone could do.

Having giant rock-covered fallen angels to help out actually made the idea that one man and his family could build a 41,000 M3 vessel complete with suitable storage for about 60,000 land-dwelling vertebrates and 1m invertebrates slightly more credible. Putting them all to sleep was also a lot more believable than the idea he could find 40 days worth of food for all of them without any eating each other.
