Why should we interfere in Nigeria and not in Iraq?
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone -

The big difference is that in Nigeria we'd be assisting a stable & fairly agreeable regime in the short term instead of overthrowing a less than pleasant one and creating a long term power vacuum. So it's much less likely to turn into a cluster****.While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.' -
Because the C8H18 in Nigeria can be controlled and China is already very keen on building Infrastructure in West Africa?
Iraq, on the other hand is managed by "friendlies" (if you can call them that?).I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment

Its just one of those stories that our politicians like to be seen to be 'engaged' with. Look sad and concerned on camera. The peasants like to see that sort of thing.Comment

This is a rescue mission not an overthrow of the government or battle with insurgents. Any help should be clearly marked as such.
Iraq was to overthrow a government.
If the French Government had a similar situation I would expect us to offer our support.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

Plus, it's a rescue mission, and an opportunity to show all those people in West Africa that the extremists will not be allowed to bully them. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
