I've no idea what you get paid to play nationally, regardless if you keep it. But I was referring to their club wages which is where the bulk of their income is... in that sense it is an open market and the best players earn the most (ish).

They do perform to their level actually, it's just that their level is top 12 teams in the world and not top 3 or 4.
