With the other parties, you can at least look at what they have said about other things, and look at their past manifestos to try to get some idea of where they stand on many other issues, but that's not an option with UKIP because they have no manifesto.

The press have been accused in the past of giving UKIP an easy ride, but if they have no policies that you can discuss with them, then how can you debate anything other than the one policy they have? Farage has described the last manifesto as drivel and admitted that he didn't read it, so there is nothing else that you can even try to hold them to account on.

If Nigel likes it, then it's something that he says; if it's not then he falls back on the line "that's old nonsense, it was nothing to do with me".
If they have no policies then don't vote for them . No one gives a Sh*t because no other party sticks to policies anyway. All we have had for over 50 years is a bi party system whereby one party bankrupts the country and the other one mends it.

Not as much twaddle as a uneducated barrow boy. I believe that the EU benefits you in exactly the same way as me. You're just too blinded and bigoted to see it. Did you know that less than 0.5% of UK government spending goes on our EU membership. As a result of membership the UK receives 52% of all its trade from the EU, worth more than £400billion a year, which is free from customs duties or tariffs. As EU citizens we have the freedom to travel, live, work, study, and retire anywhere in the union; we have also enjoyed the longest period of peace in Europe for two millennia; have set targets for sustainability thanks to EU green targets; and are protected by the European Arrest Warrant, which prevents European criminals evading arrest by entering the UK - and ensures that British criminals fleeing into Europe face justice. The EU is also currently working on closing tax loopholes to increase competition and recoup the billions of pounds lost through tax fraud and avoidance.

Or that the British people voted to join the EU in a 1975 referendum. The European Union is a democratic confederation of nations, in which individuals elect MEPs to represent them in The European Parliament. Britain is the third best-represented nation, with 73 MEPs.

People saying that European law is 'forced' on the British people is like saying that government policies are 'forced' on the people of Manchester who voted for Labour in 2010. We live in a representative democracy, and whilst that guarantees that everyone gets a vote; it does not mean that everyone is going to be happy with the result. If you don't like a law that the EU has passed, perhaps it would be worth paying more attention to the European elections and voting for the MEPs and Europarties that will fight to represent your interests.

Incidentally, Ukip MEPs Nigel Farage, Godfrey Bloom and Paul Nuttall are among the bottom five lowest attendees at the European Parliament; despite being paid £60,000 a year, and claiming millions of pounds in expenses. A vote for a Ukip MEP is clearly not a vote for British representation in Europe.

However I will say that the EU is pretty much a grotesquely anti-democratic institution in many ways which has clearly been infltrated and usurped by a bunch of neoliberals with absolute contempt for the concepts of democracy and accountability. The big problem with supporting UKIP because the EU is riddled with anti-democratic neoliberals is that UKIP are even more fanatical neoliberals than the technocrats that run the EU.

What you need to do is educate yourself which sadly I believe is below your capability. Continue in your ignorant ways as it gives the rest of us something to poke fun at in this PC age

Again with the UK voted for it fantasy, the Vote was for a 'Common Market' not 'An ever closer union'.

Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, EEC Treaty - original text (non-consolidated version)

Its a bit like saying if a girl agrees to having a drink with you you can assume she has agreed to turning tricks for you down the Docks a few days later. Then when she declines you ask if she is frigid and accuse her of hating men.

way to go with the personal insults.

I wasn't planning on voting for them, but thanks.

nope but is a good analogy of your suggestion that the UK voted for the EU.

So Helmet are you saying all trade with EU countries will stop if the UK pulls out?

I don't remember being asked if I wanted to be ruled by Von Rumpuy, unless someone misheard me tell the missus I wanted a bit of rumpy pumpy
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
