There's a 2 bedroom houseboat in Docklands on there for £165k. Look closer though and some of the prices are actually auction "guide prices", i.e. about half what the property will actually sell for.Comment

I like it (not) how houses in this country are sold on the basis of number of rooms (thankfully only bedrooms are counted). Surely one room is not the same as the other - total number of sq ft or meters is determinant on how big the house is.
That 2 bedroom house in London is ought to be a LOT smaller than 2 bedroom in Brum, or pretty much anywhere. And heck rooms are small in this country even ignoring how ridiculously small they are in London!Comment
