        Never heard of this site, thanks for the tip. I'll pass it on to a builder currently setting up full-time as well, no doubt he'd like to use it (and he's not too IT-savvy so won't have found it).

          I've not used that site but I have posted a few jobs on ratedpeople.com . We dropped onto a good sparky who did a great job.

            We moved house last year, and I used mybuilder to get a carpenter to do a built in wardrobe for us and also used it to get some gas engineers to work on the flame heaters in the house. No problems with both sets of workmen. I tend to only select workmen with at least 10 positive reviews.
