That IPCC report contains a major shift in emphasis. There is less talk now of stopping CO2 and more talk of adapting to climate change.
    About time
So whatever the cause is lets get ready for it. That makes a lot of sense to me

I can click on a different story in the Telegraph. The only way to avoid this story on BBC tv news is to not watch the BBC.

They've given up on CO2 causing global warming.

So now it doesn't cause warming, it causes rain in wet countries like Britain, snow in cold countries such as Canada and dry weather in dy countries such as Saudi Arabia.
        I'm alright Jack

You're right climate change is a problem so here's a link with some practical advice more in keeping with your intellectual capacity.

Dunno what all the fuss is about

According to the Met Office, UK has just had the second wettest year on record, just behind 2000. These claims, however, are based on records dating back to 1910. The Met Office also keep a rainfall series for England & Wales, which date back to 1766, and these cast a slightly different light on the matter

well if you don't think that the article you link to suggests that this weather event concentrates on the South, you're even more of a prick than you come across as:-

I think it rather does. If counting means stupidest place to build a house
