Oh.. Pedant fight. This should be interesting!

Then regale us with another tale of hoe the people at the dole office don't understand how you can keep claiming this and making yourself redundant. Then regale us with another tale of how you've got no money left in the company. Then regale us with another tale of how you need to take another low-paying contract. Then regale us with another tale of how you're going to jump from there into a better paying one. Then regale us with another "has anyone noticed that clients don't want to deal with people like me" thread. Then regale us with another thread about how the low-paying role has finished and you don't know whether you should claim JSA or not.

Please make sure that you post all these threads in a professional forum, so that people might not explicitly call you a knob for repeatedly doing the same thing ad nauseum.

        !
Potentially interesting for those who choose to do this. Of course, if you're not going then nothing to see here, is there?

And I bet more people will do it than you think. They just dont want to admit it.
£900 is £900 when you've got bugger all. Thats £900 less I had to take out of my savings.

But you have got more than bugger all. You have retained profit in the company that pays for your bench time.

This is where I'm confused. He said he'd pay himself a divi. How is that having bugger all?

You'll get different answer each time if you ask them. Overall, I reckon its 'safer' to get rid of any profits in case they ask (they've never asked me).
Since you've got no money in your company anyway, the whole discussion is a moot point, surely?

Well you don't qualify as you had an extension offered. On that basis you have made yourself intentionally unemployed and therefore don't qualify...
