well I'm all for a restricted debit card. That way we can analyse the purchases so if its to be resold its obvious.
We need to house & feed. they can give up the booze & fags.
This sanctioning needs to be sorted, I'm rather hoping a civil rights lawyer sues them. Maybe Liberty can support the unemployed that don't fiddle with kiddies.Comment

Didn't you recently sign on between contracts? Why didn't you get a crappy job instead?Originally posted by psychocandy View PostReality is the locals are too lazy and got it sorted on benefits to get off their arses and do crappy jobs. I did sign on but whilst quite legitimately looking for work. We are talking here about people who have no intention EVER of working at all.Originally posted by doodab View PostDidn't you recently sign on between contracts? Why didn't you get a crappy job instead?
Think about. Take a job on minimum wage straight away means you're then no longer available for a decent job.
I think you'll find that legislation allows you to spend, I think, 6 months looking for your 'normal' type of work before they start getting funny and expecting you to broaden your outlook. Seems fair enough to me.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

Can't stop people buying food in the shop with their debit card, then swapping it for fags with schoolkids outside the shop.Originally posted by vetran View Postwell I'm all for a restricted debit card. Yes, but then they don't have the food, and can't complain that "I didn't have enough money for food".Originally posted by VectraMan View PostCan't stop people buying food in the shop with their debit card, then swapping it for fags with schoolkids outside the shop.
Also, things have changed from my days if the kids are standing outside shops with fags, instead of the old call of "Can you buy me 10 B&H please mate?".Comment
