Talking of guarantees - Russia broke its own written guarantee to Ukraine, so it's no longer going to be trusted in any such cases, the question how if UK and USA will do the same - Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons in exchange for that.

I don't think UK or USA will do much, but the Ukrainians are not cowards and they won't just surrender, unfortunately it will lead to bloodshed among nations who were called themselves brothers, and this is the result of Putins policies.
