Yes I know. It seemed rather ironic given that you're sat there stroking your collection of commando comics and desperately hoping some hothead decides it's a good idea to send 200,000 NATO servicemen to the Ukraine to send "those commie bastards" a message.

Stick to the facts. Here we have no kind of military response. We are losing time.
The Ukrainians have mobilised and called up their reservists, giving them a force of close to a million men. The Soviets have several hundred thousand troops on the border. If there is a war, which seems likely if the Ukranians decide to try and expel the Russians from Crimea, it's going to be a fairly big one.

What kind of military response would you advise General Suity? It seems that anything less than preparing for an all out war against a half million man army is unlikely to be taken seriously, and it would take a strong commitment from the US to make that happen.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Really can't figure you out. You call me out for being patronising, so I think on this and take it down a notch, just for you. And then this?

You know once you posted that you had an IQ of 170 or something extraordinary like that.

And now the Ad hominem responses, ushered in by Doodab's petulant outbursts.

If I'm mocking you it's because you're coming across as slightly more inclined to use military force than Putin is.

You're spoiling for a war, the bigger the better, and keep advocating a military response. I'm asking what you would suggest?

One suspects you'll avoid actually answering because you'll realise how ridiculous a proposition it is when you actually think about it.

I think the answer I am looking for is twofold :

                1) Accept this is a european problem with the potential to suck europe into a conflict.
                2) Accept we should have seen this coming.

You are putting words in my mouth here Doodab. We are losing time.

Germany's diplomatic response I very much hope bears fruit. What a difference 100 years make.

Surely our best response has to be to send Alex Salmond over there to plea for independence for the Crimera, the Ukraine will be united faster than you can say King fatty
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

I take it back Doodab, your responses pail into the erudite in comparison.

You never asked a question. Why are you looking for an answer?

I don't think there is anyone who doesn't accept it's a European problem. As for having the potential to "suck Europe into a conflict" you're basically talking about a full scale Russian invasion of Europe, and whether they come through Ukraine or straight over the Polish border I don't think that is any more or less likely than it was three weeks ago.

So my question remains, you claim we need a military response and are losing time. What would you suggest?
