"fat fookers" like smokers die earlier - look at how many obese people there are over the age of 80.Originally posted by minestrone View PostIf I am forced to join a public medical system with the rest of the country ( and a few million foreigners ) then I want value for money and that comes from removing people who have continuously ignore health advice from the system.
The cost of keeping these fat fookers going in later life should not be made up for by me or others who don't eat cake all day.
Plus VAT is charged on takeaways, alcoholic drinks, confectionery, crisps and savoury snacks (I copied this off the VAT guide)."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

They don't just die though, the management of their chronic condition is expensive, last for years and usually takes them away from work so increasing the cost to society.
They get a year to sort it out then no prescriptions for drugs that treat the multitude of problems that they are elevating their risk of getting. Cut their welfare if they are out of work as well.Comment

Considering how often you post drunk, this seems a little hypocritical.Originally posted by minestrone View PostIf I am forced to join a public medical system with the rest of the country ( and a few million foreigners ) then I want value for money and that comes from removing people who have continuously ignore health advice from the system.

Not only that, it's just totally unworkable really. If you stop the NHS fixing anything that could come under the banner of "self inflicted" then you're going to encompass a LOT of conditions. Do I still get to use the NHS if I crash my car/motorbike? How about if I get into trouble while surfing? How about a sports injury? And so on.Originally posted by d000hg View PostConsidering how often you post drunk, this seems a little hypocritical.

If I take a baby into hospital then thats a self inflicted condition. People should not be having sex.Originally posted by vwdan View PostNot only that, it's just totally unworkable really.
