"fat fookers" like smokers die earlier - look at how many obese people there are over the age of 80.

Plus VAT is charged on takeaways, alcoholic drinks, confectionery, crisps and savoury snacks (I copied this off the VAT guide).

They don't just die though, the management of their chronic condition is expensive, last for years and usually takes them away from work so increasing the cost to society.

They get a year to sort it out then no prescriptions for drugs that treat the multitude of problems that they are elevating their risk of getting. Cut their welfare if they are out of work as well.

Considering how often you post drunk, this seems a little hypocritical.

IIRC you also run a lot; why should I have to fund your replacement knees and hips

Not only that, it's just totally unworkable really. If you stop the NHS fixing anything that could come under the banner of "self inflicted" then you're going to encompass a LOT of conditions. Do I still get to use the NHS if I crash my car/motorbike? How about if I get into trouble while surfing? How about a sports injury? And so on.

If I take a baby into hospital then thats a self inflicted condition. People should not be having sex.

I get none from Mrs BP. Why should the rest of you be so lucky?

I very, very rarely drink, I just like to abuse the assorted idiots of CUK on occasion.

I'll wait and see how I'm feeling.
