Anyway, why is it such a good idea to cut obesity levels?

Think of how many jobs depend on there being lots of fatties; fitness instructors, 'light' food manufacturers, fattywobble removal surgeons, dieticians, health food shops, Daily Wail journalists, mobility scooter suppliers, chocolate companies, purveyors of dubious artichoke based therapies on TV and those actors that can speak Spanish with their lips while the sound comes out in English .

      What obesity ?
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Stop socialising the cost of treating it.

          far too many people.
far too many people living into older age.

if people want to be fat, let them.

heart disease will help us out of having to pay them pensions.

If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.

Stretch the fat people until they're very tall instead.

Aye but don't they cost a wheelbarrow full of cash to treat in general?

I said something along these lines at work during a discussion about weight and took a backlash about how weight isn't automatically an indicator of health and how lots of people have problems blah de blah.

While I don't doubt there are genuine medical reasons for some, the fact remains that most of us simply need to eat less and exercise more.

If I am forced to join a public medical system with the rest of the country ( and a few million foreigners ) then I want value for money and that comes from removing people who have continuously ignore health advice from the system.

The cost of keeping these fat fookers going in later life should not be made up for by me or others who don't eat cake all day.
