    I've said a few times I'm strongly in favour of full joint-taxation rules for married couples i.e. you can pool your tax-free allowance.

    Do any of the major UK parties actually favour this? They allow you to transfer some piddling amount IIRC but I don't recall ever hearing it being suggested in the run up to elections.

                Like North Korea or The Congo, they always think adding democratic to the title makes them appear more legit
