How to crash and burn in an interview

This is one fookin big project. There has already been loads of them. I guess I am sifting though the notes, making my own notes and recommendations and turning it into requirements.
The thing about this role that excites me is it is PROPER business analysis. Not just wireframing screens.
Sending stuff out to tender, monitoring responses. Recruiting suppliers. And for a very, very well known project.
Would be a real jewel in my crown. I was recommended to the role by a former PM (I just had lunch with).
There are other offers on the table, including going back to Jersey, extending where I am (albeit unlikely, owing to budget niggles), and one other role in an IB I am also very keen to get moving but am waiting for an interview.
A stark contrast to last year where there was diddly squat from January through to April which really hurt the warchest.
Who knows. I am keen on the IB for various reasons, but no news is seldom good news in the contracting world.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Wish I had some interviews to fail
Loads of bites from recruiters, but nothing further yet. I'm hoping it's because of my availability (Have a few weeks to go before I finish permie land), but we'll see. I've got the right certs and experience, so we'll see.Comment

Crashed and burned in the wierdest way possible. I was too good. Could clearly see them saying "better not, he might make us look bad".
Waiting on feedback, but I'll be a monkey's uncle.
