Wasn't there a thread recently where they were going after viewers of pron for damages for copyright infringement ?How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think -
Yes 16Mb ADSL here, so that's part of the reason I've never bothered. But then my upload is a miserable 512K/s, and that's a pain when uploading stuff to dropbox etc. The 10Mb upload of fibre would make using cloudy stuff much more realistic.Originally posted by IR35 Avoider View PostI get 14 Mbs from bog-standard broadband. I suppose that's enough for two people to stream HD video at the same time, though I'm not sure we've ever done that. What benefit would even faster broadband give me?Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

I'd love for somebody to explain what all of the different sections of the sequence are for.Originally posted by Troll View PostGawd - that's like a trip down memory lane
There's one bit where the volume seems to increase gradually, WTF is that for? Check the other end can hear it properly?Comment

But as already mentioned - you can easily stream it in HD without needing fibre.Originally posted by psychocandy View Postor downloading porn!Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I get about 7mbps on my ADSL in the valleys, it seems to the job though I do wish they bump the speeds up to 16mbps. I don't think there's much chance of them putting fibre in up by me though, still one can hope as a guy I worked with had 130mbps and he lives in Luton of all places!Originally posted by VectraMan View PostYes 16Mb ADSL here, so that's part of the reason I've never bothered. In Scooter we trust

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

14Mbps down, 1Mbps up on Sky Broadband here. I rarely download anything more than 20Mb which is the work of moments; uploading is more of a pain as uploading a 50Mb demo to FTP is a PITA.
The only times I really think "fibre would be nice" is when I have to clone a git repo or download an image for Windows/Office from MS.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
