Went down over Xmas to take pictures of the floods on the Avon, lo and behold was told to move and so were another 30 people for obstructing the police & we would all be arrested. No-one was near the river. Absolutely no need, typical Johnny Big potato bollocks.

You know what they say about assumptions!

Perhaps this copper goes home to his family every night sick to the back teeth of rubber neckers and paps, having had to scrape some poor unfortunate out of a car into an ambulance and this guy with his snappy snaps one shot was the last straw?
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

The full facts like you get with the Granuaid & the Telegraph? They all have agendas.

The Policeman clearly overstepped the boundaries of the law and threatened to assault him, deprive him of his property & imprison him illegally. I suspect he will be suspended on full pay until it blows over.

He used his power and the threat of arrest to assert power that he simply he didn't have - that's UTTERLY out of order.
Well there was the case of the press tog arrested for being too tall, misusing the law seems to apply to anyone even MPs where plod is concerned
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Then he's in the wrong job - I've got plenty of family and friends who do emergency service jobs and they don't feel the need to behave like this.

Indeed but not everyone threatens to assault someone, kidnap them and steal from them.

Or abuses their position as an officer of the law to do so
